The San Francisco Waldorf School is seeking an interim Class Teacher for the Third Grade while our current Third Grade teacher is on leave.
About
San Francisco Waldorf School has a faculty of excellent teachers who are committed to Waldorf pedagogy and Anthroposophy. They are supported by an established College of Teachers, an active parent body, and a dedicated Board of Trustees. Our expanded curriculum in the grade school includes orchestral music, handwork, woodwork, physical education, gardening, eurythmy, and two foreign languages. The school is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and by the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America (AWSNA).

Essential Job Duties
The San Francisco Waldorf School is seeking an interim Class Teacher for the Third Grade while our current Third Grade teacher is on leave.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Waldorf Teacher Training completed
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience teaching third
- Experience with remote and hybrid teaching helpful
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
- Be able to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
- Work intermittently in outside weather conditions, including heat and cold
- Regularly sitting or standing 4-8 hours
Employment Details
Benefits and Compensation:
This is a temporary, full-time position. Approximately $6,700 per month of full-time substitute work. No benefits other than those required by San Francisco. Holidays are unpaid.
