Opening Statement
Prairie Hill Waldorf School is accepting applications for a full-time Grade Lead Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree and prior teaching experience. A Waldorf certificate or degree is preferred but not necessary and a willingness to participate in Waldorf training.
Waldorf faculty members are an integral part of the governance of the school. The teacher will work collaboratively within the Grades department. We seek candidates who are committed to the values of Waldorf education, a teacher who is joyful and warm, with strong interpersonal communication skills, effective classroom management, and enthusiasm for teaching and learning. Prairie Hill Waldorf School was founded in 1987 and is a full member of AWSNA (Association of Waldorf Schools of North America). We have 190 students from pre-k to grade eight, robust parent and tot classes and an outstanding faculty and staff of forty. Our faculty is grounded in a commitment to anthroposophy, and we have an enthusiastic and supportive parent body and board of trustees. We are an established, thriving school offering a Waldorf curriculum.

Prairie Hill Waldorf School was founded in 1987 and is a full member of AWSNA (Association of Waldorf Schools of North America), WECAN (Waldorf Early Childhood Association of North America) and a participant in the (WPCP) Wisconsin Parental Choice Program. Currently, there are 192 students from pre-k to grade eight, robust parent and tot classes and 47 outstanding faculty and staff. Our faculty is grounded in their commitment to anthroposophy, and we have an enthusiastic and supportive parent body and board of trustees. We are an established, thriving school situated on 14 acres of land including gardens, fields, wetlands and small woods located in beautiful Lake Country (City of Delafield) between Milwaukee and Madison, Wi.
Qualifications

– Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
