Opening Statement
The Waldorf School of Philadelphia is seeking a qualified and experienced Eurythmy teacher to join our faculty.

We are also accredited by the Middle States Association and a member of ADVIS, the Association of Delaware Valley Independent Schools.
Essential Job Duties
The Eurythmy teacher provides the eurythmy curriculum for EC-8th grade.
Duties will include:
- Preparing and teaching Eurythmy curriculum to students in EC-8 grade
- Evaluating the progress of students and preparing oral and written student reports to discuss with students, parents, and faculty
- Administrative tasks and non-teaching student supervision, including recess duty
- Attending faculty meetings, professional development sessions and school specific events
Skills required include:
- Eurythmy training from an accredited Eurythmy Training Center
- Experience with and/or knowledge of Waldorf Education
- Successful track record of teaching
Qualifications
The successful candidate will be an experienced teacher, possess positive and inclusive interpersonal skills, and have demonstrated success in teaching eurythmy in a K-8 setting. They will be able to effectively teach children of all abilities, cultivate effective classroom management, and nurture an appreciation for artistic movement. With a Eurythmy degree from an accredited Eurythmy training center and experience in teaching, the ideal candidate will also have an in-depth understanding of Waldorf education. The successful candidate will bring leadership to all aspects of the Eurythmy program at our school, and be a collaborative member of the grade school faculty, supporting plays, festivals, trips, and school performances.
