Enrollment Director
Opening Statement
Tucson Waldorf School (TWS), an independent AWSNA- and WECAN-accredited school, is seeking an Enrollment Director. As the first contact with the school for prospective parents, this role is key to helping families connect with our unique Waldorf education and supporting a thriving student body.

The Tucson Waldorf School, celebrating its 31st anniversary, is a thriving educational institution situated in the scenic foothills of the Catalina Mountains. With over 200 students from Nursery through 8th grade, we offer six early childhood classes, including parent-child, nursery, and kindergarten. Accredited by the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America (AWSNA) and the Waldorf Early Childhood Association of North America (WECAN), our school prides itself on fostering a rich and diverse learning community.
Essential Job Duties
Responsibilities:
- Admissions & Enrollment: Oversee the admissions process, from inquiries to enrollment. Lead efforts to increase student enrollment and retention.
- Community Outreach & Engagement: Build relationships with local preschools, community organizations, and prospective families. Organize events like open houses and school fairs.
- Marketing & Communications Support: Collaborate on admissions materials and campaigns. Maintain the school’s online presence to attract prospective families.
- Development Support: Work with Administrative Directors to support fundraising efforts.
- Family Engagement & Retention: Create programs to welcome and integrate new families. Gather feedback to improve the enrollment experience.
- Schoolwide Support & Safety Preparedness: Participate in safety training and be flexible to support the school as needed.
- Committee Work: Support committees focused on enrollment, marketing, festivals, and development.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Experience in admissions, enrollment, or marketing, preferably in a Waldorf setting.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfort with technology, including Excel, Google Suite, and Canva (or the ability to adapt to new tools).
- Flexibility and willingness to contribute across various school operations.
- Familiarity with Waldorf education is a must.
Employment Details
Compensation & Benefits:
- Health insurance, tuition remission, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
- Salary Range for .75 FTE: $31,365 to $33,315, depending on education and experience.
- This is a salaried non-exempt position.
