Opening Statement

Early Childhood Lead Kindergarten Teachers for the 2025-2026 School Year

Tucson Waldorf School (TWS) is seeking two passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Lead Kindergarten Teachers to join our faculty for the 2025-2026 school year. We invite applications from Waldorf-certified teachers or those nearing completion of an accredited Waldorf teacher training program. Exceptional educators with experience in other educational approaches and a willingness to embrace Waldorf pedagogy are also encouraged to apply.

This is an exciting time for our community, as several of our experienced and valued teachers are retiring or transitioning due to family commitments. These changes open opportunities for new educators to join a vibrant, supportive, and collaborative team dedicated to fostering a rich, nurturing learning environment for children.

About

About Tucson Waldorf School

Established in 1993, TWS is an independent Waldorf school serving families from Early Childhood through Grade 8. Our programs include parent-child classes, nursery, kindergarten, and first through eighth grades. Situated on a stunning 10-acre campus in the foothills of the Santa Catalina Mountains, our school offers an inspiring environment rich with the natural beauty and wildlife of the Sonoran Desert.

Our faculty and staff are deeply committed to continuous growth, collaboration, and professional development inspired by Anthroposophy and Rudolf Steiner’s principles of child development, with a focus on diversity, equity, and creating an inclusive environment.
