West Coast Institute for Studies in Anthroposophy is hiring an Early Childhood Educator Training Program Co-Director. The candidate must have training and teaching experience in the field of Waldorf Early Childhood Education. Additionally, they will have experience teaching and working with adults in the principles and practices of Waldorf Education.
About
The West Coast Institute for Studies in Anthroposophy is a Waldorf early childhood teacher training institute in British Columbia, Canada. The Institute provides programs and courses for individuals who wish to learn more about Anthroposophy, as expounded by Rudolf Steiner and others, and about Waldorf Education which has been developed out of the insights of Anthroposophy.
Essential Job Duties
Responsibilities include willingness to collaborate with other teacher training institutes, handling inquiries, and performing a variety of office duties. The candidate will work with faculty, board members, and administration. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Essential to this role are basic computer skills.
Qualifications
The individual considered for Program Co-Director is ideally a member of the Anthroposophical Society. Program co-director will need to travel to British Columbia for the three training sessions: three weeks in July and one week each in November and February.
Employment Details
Part-time position, details to be determined in collaboration with WCI. We anticipate there will be a training period.
