Overview: Marin Waldorf School is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Early Childhood Assistant Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. We seek a talented individual who loves children, teaching, and can work with colleagues in a collaborative manner. We value strong colleagueship and warm relationships with parents.
About
Marin Waldorf School serves approximately 220 students from our thriving parent/toddler program, 2 preschools, 2 kindergartens and a full grades program (1-8). Our 10-acre campus includes a beautiful oak grove, biodynamic garden, very large grass playing field, Multiple play areas and gardens for EC – 8th grade as well as a library and a woodwork studio. Our expanded curriculum includes: Woodwork, handwork, instrumental music, orchestra, choir, physical, outdoor, environmental and ecology education, gardening, Eurythmy, Spanish, and Mandarin.

Essential Job Duties
Applicants should demonstrate:

- The ability to maintain a consistent daily rhythm while assisting the lead teacher in delivering a healthy Waldorf kindergarten curriculum.
- Positive and effective communication skills with parents.
- An ability to work supportively and in collaboration with colleagues.

Qualifications
- Priority will be given to those with a certificate of completion or enrollment in an accredited Waldorf teacher training program
- Previous Waldorf early childhood teaching experience desirable
- 6 ECE units required
Employment Details
This is a full time 8am-3:15pm work with children, some evenings and weekends, hourly position with dental and health insurance. Some holidays paid.
