3-Day Pre-K Teacher
Opening Statement
Aurora Waldorf School is currently accepting applications for a part-time 3-day Pre-K Teacher. This multi-age Pre-K class for three and four-year-olds has a maximum of 12 students. This position will begin in July 2025.
The class will meet Tuesday through Thursday from 7:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. The Pre-K Teacher’s hours will be 7:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday, with occasional weeknight or weekend work for parent meetings and school activities. Additionally, there are weekly meetings and workdays, some of which end at 4:30 p.m. Faculty workdays are at the end of August and mid-June. Classes begin in September and end in June.
The ideal candidate will have a Waldorf Teacher Training certificate, experience as a kindergarten or pre-k lead classroom teacher, preferably in a Waldorf school, a Master’s Degree in a subject area or equivalent professional experience, and CPR/First Aid certification.
Applicants must demonstrate the ability to teach to multiple ages and skill levels. During the interview, candidates will be given more details.

As a part-time salaried, in-person, school-year position, benefits include partial tuition remission.
The starting annual salary is $18,000
