High School Professional Development: The Ethical Will (In Person)

What we do with our thoughts and feelings, how they manifest in action, defines who we are, while also co-creating the world we share with others. Yet we all see and feel the tremendous gap between our ideals and our reality. Forming an ethical will, a willingness to do what’s right in the face of challenges, is a life-long task that takes on particular importance in adolescence, as teens are forming their adult identities and stepping into the wider world. How do we develop a positive “will-culture” within our schools? How can we help teens connect ideals with initiative?
