Eighth grade student Bella Splendori from The Waldorf School of Garden City was recently featured in The Garden City Newsfor her in depth research project on the architecture and history of Garden City, New York on Long Island.
Her research, which was her eighth grade school project, focused on the founder A.T. Stewart and the 12 Apostle Houses. As part of the project, she also took extensive photographs of the architecture in town and spoke with the homeowners of landmark buildings. Bella also made a 3-D model of one of the very first houses in Garden City, which is now the Garden City Historical Society (TGCHS) Museum.
