Why Bright Children Deserve Age-Appropriate Academics

There is a commonly held belief that children who learn early learn more over the long haul. Research, however, does not support this theory.

According to author Laura Pappano, results from a Gesell Institute for Human Development study looked to answer these questions: “Have kids gotten smarter? Can they learn things sooner? What effect has modern culture had on child development? The surprising answers—no, no, and none.”
