Three Waldorf Graduate Brothers Break Three World Records

A team of three brothers from Edinburgh, with a shared passion for adventure, sport and music, rowed 3,000 miles across the Atlantic and broke three world records. The brothers also happen to be Waldorf graduates.

In the tes.com article, Our schools gave us the strength to row the Atlantic, they attribute their resolve to two for 35 continuous days to their Waldorf education. They discussed the love of the outdoors instilled by the Rudolph Steiner school in Edinburgh, but also the confidence.

“On a slightly deeper level is the importance of the self-belief we got from our schooling.  Having good relationships with our teachers from a young age instilled belief within us, which gave us the confidence to believe we could do something out of the ordinary.”
