Early Childhood Lead Teacher
Opening Statement
Acorn Waldorf School is seeking a full time Early Childhood Lead Teacher for the 2025-26 school year.This role will serve one of our mixed-age kindergarten programs. The Lead Teacher is responsible for delivering our play-based curriculum, rich in artistic activity and immersive outdoor experiences. Qualified candidates have a warm disposition, are curious and open-minded, and have a deep comfort working in a year-round forest program, along with a Waldorf Early Childhood Education Certification from a WECAN-approved program and a commitment to Waldorf pedagogy. Applicants must be dedicated to excellence in teaching and recognize the importance of educational equity, self-development, and collegial cooperation. 5+ years of classroom experience is preferred.

Qualifications
Waldorf Early Childhood Education Certification from a WECAN-approved program and a commitment to Waldorf pedagogy, 5+ years of classroom experience preferred
