New and Nearly New School Leaders: The River, the Raft, and You

This four session course is designed for a small group of new and nearly-new Waldorf school leaders.  We’ll start with a Saturday session on January 11 and then meet one evening a month in February, March, and April.  Our work is to explore the ways to stay afloat and thrive as a new or nearly-new school leader.  Topics include understanding school structure and governance; managing competing priorities; fostering a culture respectful of authority and committed to accountability; meeting planning and facilitation; leading a team; and establishing habits that build balance and provide self-care.  We will also invite you to offer top-of-mind topics of interest.
